LADY PACERS LOSE SECOND TO TOP-FIVE OPPONENT
#2 ARMSTRONG ATLANTIC STATE TOO TOUGH IN 9-0 SHUTOUT

The Lady Pacers have now dropped matches this season to teams ranked second and third nationally.
Iuliia Stupak, who has been ranked one nationally but is not currently qualified for the national rankings, defeated Kristin Hunter 6-0, 6-2 at #1 singles. AASU has five other players ranked in the top 40 nationally, including five in the top 20. The Lady Pacers were limited to just 13 games won in six singles matches.
At #3 doubles, Brittany Telford and Stephanie Humphrey put up a tough fight before falling to Johanna Dahlback and Alisa Kagukina 8-4.
USC Aiken returns to action this Friday, traveling to Gaffney, S.C., for a 2:30 PM match with Limestone.
