AIKEN, S.C.--USC Aiken’s

The Peach Belt Conference takes on a new look in 2004. Defending conference

I level. Two new teams, Columbus State and Georgia College & State
University will play PBC soccer for the first time.
USCA was picked fifth on two ballots, sixth on one ballot, seventh on two
ballots and eighth on three ballots. The Lady Pacers’ season begins
on Sept. 4, when they host North Georgia College & State University
at 2:00 p.m., at “Pacer Pit.”
Last season USC Aiken posted a 3-12-0 overall record and finished last
in the PBC with an 0-7-0 mark. Head Coach Ike Ofoje (49-65-8 in seven seasons)
welcomes back 10 of 11 starters and a total of 15 letterwinners. Included
among the returning players is two-time All-PBC selection, junior Melissa
Schnoering.
