DURHAM NAMED PBC PLAYER OF THE WEEK
JUNIOR OUTSIDE HITTER IS USCA'S FIRST SELECTION IN NEARL TWO YEARS

Durham averaged 3.09 kills, 2.36 digs, and 1.00 service ace per game this past week in guiding the Lady Pacers (8-3) to a perfect 3-0 mark.  Hitting .325, the Easley, S.C. native posted double-digit kill totals in all three matches, including a .421 hitting percentage in a 3-0 win over Mount Olive on Friday night in the first-ever athletic event at the 3,600-seat Convocation Center. 

In USC Aiken’s big win over previously undefeated Wingate University, Durham recorded 14 kills, 15 digs, four aces, and three blocks as the Lady Pacers registered the 3-2 victory.  In 11 games this week, she served up an impressive 11 service aces for a rare 1.00 per game average. 

Currently fifth in the Peach Belt Conference in kills, Durham also ranks sixth in digs, 13th in hitting percentage, and leads the league in service aces with 25. 

Durham is the 24th PBC Player/Specialist of the Week selection in head coach Will Condon’s eight-year tenure and the 35th in the program’s 17-year NCAA history. 

Winners of four-straight, USC Aiken returns to action on Friday, September 14 when the Lady Pacers travel to face rival Augusta State at 7:00 PM at the Christenberry Fieldhouse.  USCA is 30-6 all-time against the Lady Jaguars and have won seven-straight in the series.
