LARRY MILNER
HEAD CROSS COUNTRY COACH
Larry Milner enters his second season as head cross country coach at USC Aiken.
In his first season, the Lady Pacers came in second at The Citadel Invitational
and ninth in the Peach Belt Conference.
Milner, a native of Columbia, S.C., joined the USCA athletics staff in 2006 with
six years of track and cross country coaching experience. Milner is a Level I
Certified Coach and was involved with both track and cross country at Aiken High
from 1995-2003. In 2004, he also coached a Team in Training for the Leukemia
Society.
Milner has been involved in distance running for over twenty years and has participated
in multiple events and marathons, including the Cooper River Bridge Run and the
100th Boston Marathon in 1996 where he posted a time of 2:53.
Milner is a 1978 graduate of the University of South Carolina and in 2003 became
a retired engineer from BellSouth. Milner has been living in Aiken since 1979
with his wife Kathy. They have three children, son Brantlee and twin daughters
Michele and Marcie.
