Robert “Bobby” Walters is in his second year as an Athletics Business Assistant at the USCA. He handles accounts payable/receivable, assists in ticket operations and fundraising, and produces much of the division’s marketing materials. In collaboration with the Athletic Communications office, Walters started the Pacer Athletics newsletter to serve fans and university stakeholders.
Previously, Walters served as the Project Manager and Administrative Assistant for USCA’s Division of Marketing & Communication. He was part of the initial team guiding USCA’s full institutional rebrand. While in Marketing & Communication, Walters was also a Program Advisor for the Chancellor Ambassadors, an organization in which he was a student member. Walters also served as the commencement scriptwriter for multiple semesters. He was a member of the inaugural Chancellor’s Institute for Professional Excellence.
As an Athletics Student Assistant at USCA, Walters was named campus-wide Student Employee of the Year (2021-2022). He was selected for NAATSO's 2022-2023 mentorship program and attended the 2023 NACDA convention in Orlando, FL.
Walters earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Management concentration from USCA. Receiving magna cum laude honors, he was awarded the Management Student of the Year (2022-2023). He is currently enrolled in the Master of Sport and Entertainment Management program through the University of South Carolina’s David & Nicole Tepper School of Sport and Entertainment Management.
