Inclement Weather Postpones Sunday’s Scheduled Twinbill at J.H. Satcher Field
AIKEN, S.C. – The University of South Carolina Aiken
softball team has had to postpone its Peach Belt Conference
doubleheader with Columbus State due to the continued threat of
inclement weather in the CSRA on Sunday, March 27.
No make-up date for the doubleheader has been set as of yet. Please
check USC Aiken’s official athletic website at www.PacerSports.com in the coming days for
further information.
Earlier today, USC Aiken swept a league doubleheader from Georgia
Southwestern at J.H. Satcher Field. The Pacers won game one, 2-0,
before taking a 3-2 win in game two.
Winners of their last four overall, the Pacers will next travel Due
West, S.C. for a non-conference doubleheader against Erskine on
Tuesday, March 29. The first game is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m.
The second game will commence shortly after the conclusion of game
one.
