USC Aiken-Columbus State Softball Doubleheader Rescheduled for April 11
AIKEN, S.C. – The University of South Carolina Aiken softball team was able to reschedule its Peach Belt Conference doubleheader with Columbus State to Monday, April 11.
The Pacers will now close out their 2011 regular season against the Cougars. The first game of the doubleheader is scheduled to get underway at 2 p.m. The second game will begin shortly after the conclusion of game one.
USC Aiken went a perfect 4-0 last week. The Pacers swept doubleheaders from non-conference foe St. Andrews and Peach Belt Conference foe Georgia Southwestern.
The Pacers begin the week with a 21-11 record overall.
USC Aiken only has one doubleheader in the coming week as they will next travel to Due West, S.C. for a non-conference doubleheader against Erskine on Tuesday, March 29. The twinbill will begin at 3 p.m. with the first game. The second game will begin shortly after the end of game one.
