Two Pacers Tied for 18th Individually After First Round of Southeast Regional Preview
First Round Individual Results
CLEMMONS, N.C. – USC Aiken’s Brian Amick and Mark Dickson are in a tie for 18th individually after the first round of play of the Will Wilson Southeast Regional Preview at the par 70 Tanglewood Park Golf Club Championship Course.
Amick (Sumter, S.C./Sumter) and Dickson (Edinburgh, Scotland/Firrhill) both carded a 74 in the inaugural round.
USC Aiken’s Matt Atkins (Owensboro, Ky. /Henderson State) is in a tie for 23rd after the opening round with a 75.
As a team, USC Aiken is in ninth place after the first round with a total team tally of 301.
UNC Pembroke is in first as a team after round one with a 290. Wingate and Carson-Newman are tied for second at 293.
UNC Pembroke’s Jonathan McCurry and Carson-Newman’s Liam Ashby are the leaders individually after day one. Both fired a one-under-par 69 on Sunday.
The second round of the 2010 Will Wilson Southeast Regional Preview will be played on Monday, Oct. 18 at the Tanglewood Park Golf Club Championship Course.
