Pojah Selected South Carolina Education Lottery USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week

AIKEN, S.C. - University of South Carolina Aiken men’s basketball player Jeremiah Pojah was named the South Carolina Education Lottery USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week on Dec. 31, 2011.

Pojah finished USC Aiken’s narrow loss to Virginia Union on Friday, Dec. 30 with 12 points and a team-high nine rebounds.

Pojah collected four of his nine boards in the game on the offensive glass.

The senior transfer from Houston, Texas concluded the game shooting 50 percent (5-for-10) from the field. He also had two assists and two steals in the game.

Pojah is averaging 9.5 points and 6.3 rebounds in the 2011-12 season.
