USC Aiken Ranked 13th in Latest NABC/Division II Poll

KANSAS CITY – The University of South Carolina Aiken men's basketball team is ranked 13th in the latest NABC/Division II Men's Basketball Poll.

The Pacers are one of three Peach Belt Conference teams in the top 13 with Augusta State fifth and Montevallo now ranked ninth.

Earning their first national ranking of the year at No. 20 on Dec. 4, 2007, USC Aiken has now been ranked in the top 25 in 33 of the last 47 regular season polls.

USC Aiken is currently 7-2 on the 2010-11 season. The Pacers are 2-1 in Peach Belt Conference play.

The Pacers had been ranked fourth in last week's regular season poll, but after a 1-1 week at the 2010 ConocoPhillips and Quality Energy Services USC Aiken Pre-Holiday Classic at the Convocation Center the Pacers fell to 13th. USC Aiken's lone win last week was against then No. 23 Virginia Union.

USC Aiken will next welcome Mars Hill to the Convocation Center for a 7:30 p.m. game on Thursday, Dec. 30.
