2010 ConocoPhillips and Quality Energy Services USC Aiken Pre-Holiday Classic All-Tournament Team Announced

AIKEN, S.C. – The 2010 ConocoPhillips and Quality Energy Services USC Aiken Pre-Holiday Classic All-Tournament team was announced shortly after the conclusion of the final game on Friday at the Convocation Center.

The six-member team (including Most Valuable Player) featured two players from the host school of USC Aiken as well as two players from Shaw University.  One member from Mount Olive and Virginia Union each also made an appearance on the squad.

The members of the team were each presented with a plaque by tournament sponsor Teresa Roberts and USC Aiken Director of Athletics Randy Warrick. USC Aiken's Byron Faison (Sumter, S.C./Crestwood) collected 32 points in the Pacer games in the event, while teammate Michael Technow (Boca Raton, Fla./American) collected 27 points and 14 rebounds to earn a spot on the team for USC Aiken. Shaw's Raheem Smith was named the tournament MVP after leading his team to a 2-0 record over the two-day classic with 36 points.
