Reminder That Tickets for USC Aiken-Augusta State Doubleheader in Augusta are On Sale

AUGUSTA, Ga. – The University of South Carolina Aiken athletic department announced recently that through a cooperative effort with the Augusta State athletic department tickets are now on sale for USC Aiken's doubleheader with Augusta State at Christenberry Fieldhouse on Monday, Jan. 24.

The USC Aiken athletic department has 300 tickets for the first of two men's and women's basketball doubleheaders between the two programs in the 2010-11 season.

Tickets for USC Aiken's men's and women's basketball doubleheader against rival Augusta State at Christenberry Fieldhouse in Augusta, Ga. are $7. Six-and-under will get in free.

Gates will open for the twinbill on Monday, Jan. 24 an hour and a half before tip-off of the women's game.

The Jan. 24 doubleheader between the two rivals is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. with the current nationally-ranked No. 17 USC Aiken women's basketball team battling the Augusta State women's basketball team at 5:30 p.m.  Immediately following the women's game at approximately 7:30 p.m. the USC Aiken men will tangle with the third-ranked Jaguar men.

In addition to the tickets, Pacer fans can also purchase their "Why So Blue?" basketball shirts for the USC Aiken-Augusta State doubleheaders starting Jan. 16.

The special USC Aiken basketball shirts will be available starting on Jan. 16 in the USC Aiken Bookstore and at USC Aiken home basketball games. 

Featuring the "Why So Blue?" slogan, the t-shirts are $7 for Pacer Fanatic members and $10 for faculty/staff/general public.
