AUGUSTA, Ga.--USC Aiken’s men’s tennis team captured three titles this weekend at the 2004 Chick-Fil-A Collegiate Championship hosted by Augusta State University in Augusta, Ga. Fernando Guevara won the Flight 4 singles championship, Jeff West won the Flight 5 singles championship and Guevara teamed with Pierre Negri to claim the Flight 2 doubles championship.

Nicolas Lombardo, Negri and Carlos Huerta each advanced to the semifinals of their respective singles flights. John Percival lost in the finals of the Flight 6 singles tournament.

In doubles, Lombardo and Huerta advanced to semifinals of Flight 1 while the duo of West and Percival lost in the finals of Flight 3.

The Pacers have concluded the fall portion of their schedule. USCA will begin spring competition on Feb. 5, 2005 when it travels to Fort Valley, Ga., to face Fort Valley State University at 2:00 p.m.
