IMPORTANT: EFFECTIVE FALL 2003!

 
ALL USC AIKEN STUDENT ATHLETES WILL BE REQUIRED TO HAVE ACCIDENT INSURANCE THAT COVERS INJURIES SUSTAINED DURING PARTICIPATION IN USC AIKEN ATHLETICS.

In an effort to offset rising insurance premiums, we require that student athletes carry a primary insurance that offers accident coverage in the state of South Carolina.

We will continue to provide secondary insurance for athletic injuries incurred during athletic participation.  This secondary coverage will only take effect after the primary insurance has been activated.

This is a requirement of the USC Aiken Athletic Department and Athletic Training Department. Athletes without primary coverage will not be allowed to participate in any team conditioning, practice, or game until this requirement is fulfilled.


Please check with your insurance company to find out if coverage is provided for your son/daughter while at USC Aiken.

 
***Foreign athletes may purchase a 10 month online policy provided by HTH Worldwide Insurance.  The web site is as follows:
