USC Aiken Claims Third Consecutive Peach Belt Conference Title
AIKEN, S.C. - The nationally-ranked USC Aiken dance team won its third consecutive Peach Belt Conference title during the PBC Spirit Championships on Saturday morning at the Convocation Center.
The Pacers are now seven-time winners of the event. USC Aiken also won the event in 1996, 1997, 1998, 2004, 2008, 2009 and 2010. The victory by the Pacer dance team on Saturday marked their second ever PBC three-peat.
The 2009-10 USC Aiken Dance Team is comprised of Julie Smilak,
Crystal Iannacone, Victoria Oliver, Jessica
Cochran, Leanna Bussey, Laura Stoffko, Janna Mino, Whitney Arnold
and Adam Shults. Cochran and Bussey are the 2009-10 Pacer team
captains.
The 2009-10 USC Aiken Dance Team is helmed by Cheerleading, Mascot
and Dance Team Director Angie Osbon, Cheerleading and Dance Team
Advisor Janet Joy and Dance Team Choreographers Corey Burns and
Kristin Allen.
