Ride With the Pacers to Charleston!
The USC Aiken athletic department has announced a way for Pacer fans to enjoy great basketball and one of the nation's oldest and finest cities all in the same weekend.
The USC Aiken men's and women's basketball teams are both traveling to Charleston, S.C. to face off against NCAA Division I College of Charleston on Saturday, Nov. 7 for exhibition contests at the state-of-the-art Carolina First Arena. The Pacer men are slated to take on the Cougars at 5 p.m., while the USC Aiken women are scheduled to take on the College of Charleston women immediately following the men's contest at approximately 7 p.m.
The USC Aiken athletic department has devised a unique deal for Pacer fans to be a part of the action in the lowcountry by literally riding the excitement by bus to Charleston with the Pacer men's or women's basketball team for only $15 per person. The low cost entitles Pacer fans a seat on the bus and a ticket to the night's action!
The Pacer men are leaving at 8 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 6 from the Convocation Center for their contest with the College of Charleston. That evening the Pacers will be staying at the luxurious Holiday Inn Riverview just outside of beautiful downtown Charleston. All meals for the men's trip will be on your own. The bus back to Aiken is slated to leave directly after the women's game.
The USC Aiken women are making it a day trip to one of the nation's oldest and revered cities. USC Aiken will depart from the Convocation Center at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 7. Fans on this special trip will have the chance to dine for lunch in downtown Charleston. The cost for the women's trip is $20. Included in their price will be pizza and drinks for the ride back after the conclusion of their tussle with the Cougars.
