
2008-09 Member Expectations
Students who are selected are required to participate in the following activities:
· Attend 1st Team Meeting, April 24th, 6:00 pm, Convocation Center Conference Room
· Summer Practices
· Teach Summer Spirit Camp (July 21-25, 2008)
· Attend Collegiate Cheerleader Camp (or participate in a home camp)
· Perform at Midnight Madness
· Travel to Orlando for either the men’s or women’s Disney Tournament (usually first two weekends in November); this will cost each cheerleader $150 per person to go
· Cheer at all home basketball games (November - February)
· Attend all Peach Belt Basketball Tournament Games in which USCA plays (early March)
· Attend all post-season NCAA tournaments in which USCA plays (mid to late March, may conflict with Spring Break)
· Attend all practices (2-3 times/week during Fall and Spring semester)
· Participate in all team fundraising activities and other activities and performances as they arise.
Students who are selected may be required to purchase the following items (some fundraising is done to alleviate the costs):
· Cheer shoes (generally $60)
· Team Bag (generally $35)
· Team Warm-Up (generally $80)
