USCA NAMES WOSMEK ASSISTANT ATHLETIC TRAINER
GRADUATE OF MINNESOTA JOINS BRANDON AIKEN'S STAFF

AIKEN, S.C.--Jill Wosmek has been named USC Aiken’s Assistant Athletic Trainer, the school announced on Wednesday. Wosmek recently completed her graduate studies at the University of Minnesota and assumed her new duties at USCA last week.

“I am looking forward to expanding my professional experiences at USC Aiken,” said Wosmek. “I have been surrounded by intercollegiate athletics for the last six years and look forward to expanding on my experiences.”

Wosmek graduated this past May with her Master’s of Arts in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Physiology. As a graduate assistant, Wosmek worked primarily with the Gophers’ women’s rowing, women’s tennis, and men’s tennis teams as well as supervising athletic medicine interns.

A 2003 graduate of Minnesota State Mankato, an NCAA Division II school, Wosmek earned her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Athletic Training while minoring in Corporate and Community Fitness and Wellness.

“Jill brings a unique professional demeanor considering she just graduated. She is an athletic trainer beyond her years,” said Brandon Aiken, USCA Head Athletic Trainer. “Jill is very organized and mature and brings great skills with her.”

Wosmek, a native of Dassel, Minn., is single and resides in Aiken.

USC Aiken is a proud member of the NCAA Division II and the Peach Belt Conference and is the home of the defending back-to-back NCAA Division II Men’s Golf National Champions.
