What
is the Pacer Club?
The USCA PACER CLUB is a nonprofit organization whose membership revenues
are directed toward the support of athletics at the University of South Carolina Aiken. South Carolina
law precludes the use of state appropriated funds for intercollegiate athletics
therefore PACER CLUB donations serve as a vital resource in maintaining
a quality athletic program. Chartered by the state of South Carolina as
a tax exempt organization, contributions are TAX DEDUCTIBLE to the full
extent of the law.
Why Join the Pacer Club?
There are many rewards that come from participation in competitive sports
that can influence a person's life beyond the simple matter of winning
or losing. Pacer Club members can share that involvement and enjoy a special
experience that includes being a part of today's intercollegiate
sports scene. For some members this will involve a renewed taste of the
struggle and tension that was a part of their own sports experience; for
other it can give a new insight into the world of a new generation - and
a chance to relate to that world in a positive way that will be both long-lasting
and personal. Pacer coaches and athletes are intensely dedicated to their
sports and your support - both personal and financial - can make a big
difference.
