DYNASTY: USC AIKEN GOLF WINS THREE-STRAIGHT NCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS (2004, 2005, 2006)
USC Aiken golf has been a perennial power in Division II men's golf for the better part of two decades. But even by the Pacers' own lofty standards, the three-year run USCA had beginning in the postseason of 2004 and running through the program's third-straight NCAA National Championships in 2006 was nothing less than a "DYNASTY".
Listed below are just some of the acommplishments over that period as well as links to each NCAA Championship story.
• Three-straight NCAA Championships
• Dane Burkhart won NCAA medalist honors at 2005 championship
• Three-straight NCAA Southeast Region crowns (part of five consecutive from 2002-06)
• Scott Brown won back-to-back NCAA Region medalist honors in 2005 and 2006
• Peach Belt Conference Championships in 2005 and 2006
• Ranked #1 in Top 25 poll for 125-straight weeks
• Dane Burkhart named 2005 Division II National Player of the Year
• Scott Brown named 2006 Division II National Player of the Year
* Michael Carlisle named 2004, 2005, and 2006 Division II National Coach of the Year
• 10 All-Americans in three years (including three First-Team selections)
* Two Peach Belt Conference Freshmen of the Year, two PBC Players of the Year, one PBC Coach of the Year, and eight PBC All-Conference selections during those three years
• From May 2004 through May 2006, USC Aiken won 23 of 28 tournaments it competed in including five Division I events
